Head of Equities Technology, Investment & Insurance
The Head of Equities Technology is a person who understands technology and the product (or business domain). An effective leader with experience of managing large teams of, effective stakeholder management across multiple business segments with a proven track record of successful delivery in fast paced environments. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Team leadership ensuring best in class people engagement, creating high performing cultures and a clear people strategy • Ability to adapt communication to all levels within the organisation from CEO to associate • Accountable for the technology e2e architecture and understanding the required patterns that are future ready • Delivering solutions using new stack technology - Cloud Native, APIs and microservices • Implements using true agile practice • Annual initiative budget of circa $18m, run budget management of $15m • Builds trust within the Team and Stakeholders, by collaborating on shared goals and creating a "Safe-To-Fail" resilient Team culture • Leads the team that is cross functional and cross geographical locations • Handles priorities between requests and technical needs Qualifications • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent • Domain knowledge of Exchange traded products an advantage • At least 15 years + of hands-on business software application development experience in a mission critical domain • Experience in driving major Agile / LEAN transformation across business and technology groups • Experience driving multiple complex technology / business initiatives across multiple domains and markets • Experienced with cloud computing, cloud native architecture patterns, containers, DevOps and continuous integration / delivery preferred • Superior ability to work with business and technology stakeholders across all levels internally and externally • Experience managing team of 80+ people in an Agile environment Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
