Our client, a world's leading Multinational Corporation is looking for a Head of APAC Cyber Security. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide overall leadership, guidance and directions for cyber security strategy and implementation, cyber intelligence, computer security incident response, and forensic investigation in the APAC region.

Job Description:

  • Initiate and lead initiatives to ensure consistent and growth of Cyber Security Operations.
  • Direct and control the establishment, implementation and ongoing management of the cyber security and incident response framework, which includes policies, processes and technologies.
  • Influence and convince internal key stakeholders to adopt cyber security policies or invest in appropriate technology such as preventive and detective tools.
  • Direct and lead the team to formulate and propose strategies and alternative solutions to the Senior Management and Executives on preventing cyber attacks and responding to cyber incidents.
  • Develop key operating procedures and uses cases for incident detection in close cooperation and alignment with the Head of Global Monitoring and Investigation.
  • Direct and lead the team to formulate and propose strategies and alternative solutions to the Senior Management and Executives on preventing cyber attacks and responding to cyber incidents.
  • Drive for proactive threat management activities to minimize the likelihood of a cyber incident.
  • Define Key Performance and Key Risk Indicators regarding Cyber Security activities in APAC.

Requirement:

  • Degree graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent work experience in Information Security.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the information security field with at least 5 years of experience in a management capacity.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing and developing a SOC team or comparable.
  • Experience with network, host, and application anomalies and alerts raised by automated systems, such as SIEM, NGW, APT and end-point protection.
  • Strong security background (understanding risk assessment, legal and regulatory requirements, threats, vulnerabilities, security policies etc.).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the threat landscape, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), general attack stages, kill-chain and attack types.
  • Broad knowledge and proven experience in incident handling and incident response methodologies.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g. GCIH, ECIH, CSIH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc) will be preferred.
  • Possess unimpeachable personal and professional integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English language).
