Working closely with clients and front office teams, this person will be responsible for managing teams in the Asia Pacific region in regards to client on-boarding, documentation, compliance with local regulations, reporting and ensuring local and global strategic projects are aligned in regards to process efficiencies and automation.

Our client is a global corporate bank with a strong presence in Asia and growing teams across HK, Singapore, Shanghai and Tokyo.

Description

Key responsibilities include managing client on-boarding teams in the region, planning and improving client documentation work flows; working with global head leaders on projects to improve efficiencies in on-boarding, documentation, KYC; liaising efficiently with front office teams and compliance teams internally; lead and drive a collaborative and high learning environment for all junior team members and managers.

Profile

The ideal candidate would have many years experience in operations for a global bank, with expertise and experience specifically with client on-boarding, documentation, compliance and client due diligence. Previous regional experience and familiarity with local regulations is preferred. The ability to manage senior stakeholders, work with diverse team members, travel within the region (when the time allows), and strong communication and influencing skills is needed.
