Head, Operations (OCBC Yangon Branch)

  • Ensure that Yangon Branch adheres to the operating controls and standards of Bank in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, ethical standards and good international banking best practices.
  • Work closely with General Manager to formulate & implement plan(s) aimed at supporting the branch's business activities.
  • Ensure all operations departments are in line with the general controls and standards governing the units such as :
    • Account Services
    • Retail Operations
    • Treasury Operations
    • Payment Operations
    • Trade Operations
    • Loan Operations
    • Information Technology
  • Together with Branch Compliance Manager, to ensure the control and administration standards of legal and/or regulatory and AML matters are in full compliance to safeguard the bank's legal and/or reputation.
  • Work closely with head office in the implementation of policies and new projects in support of the Branch's operations.


Qualifications
Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 8 years of banking operations management.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and an effective team player.
  • The position will be based in Myanmar, Yangon.
