We have an excellent job opportunity for a passionate graduate or experienced technologist to join our Front Office team in Singapore.

This is a sought-after opportunity to work with other smart technologists and traders to make a significant impact in an industry leading high frequency trading business. This global team of technology enthusiasts is directly aligned to the derivatives desk and are given scope to bring value to the business through their contribution of ideas and technical skills. By building a suite of in-house developed, real-time trading systems and algorithms across the Asia region, you'll help the Equity Derivatives desk generate profit, focusing on market making warrants and algorithmic strategies. Our in-house software is relied on to make profitable and sustainable income, as it is engineered to reliably price derivatives (options and warrants), send orders to market, manage trading risk and comply with liquidity and exchange obligations.

Taking on ownership and responsibility for systems and trading regions, you will use your technical, communication and leadership skills to positively influence the agility of our team, the quality and maintainability of our code and solutions, and the profit of the business.

You will work to enhance our market making systems with a view to improve alpha and minimize slippage, and partner with the derivatives trading desk to enter new markets, building and enhancing automated trading strategies. We also like to ensure high availability of trading systems through solid design, effective programming practices and support, as we enjoy increasing performance, resiliency and productivity. Your debugging and troubleshooting skills, and ability to deliver to agreed constraints of time, budget and scope will be greatly valued.

Working with our team, these qualities will be essential:
  • strong C# (or Java / C++) development experience
  • experience in trading systems
  • technology enthusiast

These qualities would also add to your success in this role\:
  • a good understanding of Equity Derivatives Markets, Cash Equities, and Equity Derivatives
  • computer Science degree or similar
  • experience in SGL Server or similar databases
  • strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • positive attitude, hunger to learn, and a track record of showing responsibility and ownership.
