Job Purpose:

To project manage the build-out of up to 75 new product logos in our issuing platforms (both G2C and Non-G2C) across 11 markets in AP in addition to building necessary systems and processes to support the new issuance as well as the migration of approximately 6mm consumer credit accounts from Visa to MasterCard. 

Job Background/Context:

In 2015, Citi and Mastercard executed a 10-year Global Branding Agreement which is forecast to provide substantial financial benefits to Citi over the term of the contract. The Agreement requires (with certain permitted exceptions and exclusions) Citi to initiate conversions of existing non-Mastercard-network branded proprietary Consumer & Small Business Credit Cards to Mastercard and to issue all new proprietary cards exclusively with the Mastercard brand. Due to a pre-existing Agreement with Visa, Citi in AP has thus far been excluded from this agreement.  The Visa agreement expires on March 31, 2020 after which all new Cards must be issued on the MasterCard network and all portfolios must also be migrated to MasterCard.  

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with Regional and Country stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are correctly identified, documented and tracked from start to finish
  • Engage proactively with country team, regional product team, Network partner to ensure that project objectives are met and exceeded
  • Possess capability to challenge the project teams to set and achieve bold goals
  • Report periodic progress to Network partners, country teams, leadership and other stakeholders
  • Monitor, Track and Escalate issues and ensure successful solutions to the same.
  • Escalate project risks to the project director, or project sponsor, when appropriate
  • Document learnings across the project management life cycle to ensure a successful outcome, within time, budget and resources.
  • Minimize disruption and change, focus will be on the preservation of the existing value proposition and customer retention


The ideal Candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree related to technology and operations. Qualifications in Banking and Financial Services
  • Extensive Project Management Experience
  • Project Planning and Tracking
  • Project Management/Program Management Skills across large multi stakeholder projects
  • Successful track record in managing large complex projects consistently with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience
