Description

Strategic Intent:

Take ownership of and lead holistic development and regional execution of overall Cards acquisition growth strategy leading to net account growth.

Acquisitions to be accelerated from the digital channel while optimising traditional channels to achieve significant improvements is cost per account (CPA), turnaround time, credit initiation efficiency and account P&L.

Apply business- and customer- insights to ensure optimal product and channel mix, execution practicality and a remarkable end-to-end customer experience.

Set clear objectives to improve overall process efficiency, CPA, and account P&L

Accountabilities:

Maximise Account Growth and Profitability
  • Cards acquisition plan achievement on key metrics like digital %, CPA, early vintage spend and paybacks
  • Work with Regional Digital Acquisitions, S&D, Decision Management and Marketing teams to align on deliverable priorities, execution roadmap and communication messaging
  • Identify opportunities to improve end to end conversion performance, from application experience enhancements to online application approvals, and lead initiatives to capitalize
  • Be the key Cards & Loans interface for Digital Acceleration War Room exercise and for Global cards
  • Apply cards business acumen and product insights to the planning and execution of acquisition strategies and support the delivery of Cards and Loans revenue and growth targets through channel optimization and expansion
  • Develop an understanding of the current acquisition landscape, including market-specific credit risk, fraud and regulatory constraints, and shape individual market strategies and tactics accordingly to maximize opportunities
  • Establish the business case and financial correlation of channel shift and build a regular reporting platform to track regional and country performance against the established metrics
  • Identify partnership opportunities and work with respective relationship managers to leverage existing regional and/or global Cards partnerships for acquisitions integration
  • Gain buy-in from cards heads and build strong working relationship with country teams to drive smooth and timely implementation of key initiatives for respective markets
  • Socialize project successes and learnings to facilitate rapid best practice adoption and accelerate high quality acquisitions across the region
  • Ensure consistent, accurate & timely delivery of monthly budget management for specific channels being managed (Outlook, Flash, Accruals)
  • Channel performance reporting and key interface for Global and corresponding Cards business contacts

Integration of Digital Acquisition Tools
  • Drive integration of the digital acquisition tools within regions (RCE in APAC & EMEA) and define roadmap for logical convergence
  • Draw best practices and leverage common features to create the model engine for all. 

Reporting and MIS
  • Work with Decision Management to develop a comprehensive and informative regional dashboard
  • Collate and report results vs plans of key metrics on a monthly basis, covering funnel conversion, product mix, CPA, and account KPIs

Qualification & Other Requirements:
  • Marketing, Economic and/or Business Degree.
  • Min 8 year experience in Financial Services.
  • Solid understanding of cards and lending landscape and financial dynamics
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships, to drive business growth
