The role is part of the regional Investments Product and the broader Regional Wealth Management and Retail Bank business. The product manager is the product program and P&L owner for this product. The product covers (a) financing against client's wealth portfolio. The Portfolio comprises Affluent and HNI client segments of Citigold and Citigold Private Client segments and exceeds $6Bn, with ~ $ 60MM in annual revenues. (b) Offering a brokerage services platform that allows clients to access exchange listed products across APAC and EMEA including individual Equities, ETFs
  • Enhancing the proposition of Products across Asia, EMEA, and increasing the revenue pool for retail bank and enhancing the  value proposition for the client segment
  • Work closely with regional risk team in converging the product proposition of portfolio finance with that available with CPB in line with strategy to the Own Affluent segment
  • Work closely with regional and global teams on providing best in class brokerage execution platform for exchange listed securities
  • Drive the adoption and usage of e-brokerage as well as developing and implementing the strategy for brokerage, ETF, Managed Accounts and advisory propositions
  • Partner with (a) key CPC businesses such as IPB (Asia, EMEA), GCB Singapore, GCB Hong Kong, GCB Taiwan that contribute > 60% of total WM revenues and >80% of CPC revenues in driving the depth and breadth of client penetration of product category (b) Businesses will large pools of clients who have an affinity for brokerage products such as GCB HK,SG,IPB, TWN to augment the WM revenues
  • Work closely with risk and loan operations in establishing 'best-in-class' origination and fulfillment process as well as maintaining low delinquency rates that happen on account of inefficient designed account maintenance processes
  • Work closely with regional Training unit to sharply define the competency program for bankers on portfolio finance
  • Partner with regional governance and IPR in implementation of RDIP 2.1 changes in the program


The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Deep understanding of the investments business - in particular Mutual Funds, Bonds and Notes and Equity linked products
  • Highly conversant with loan processes including margining techniques
  • Familiar with architecture of brokerage platforms and allied services with high digital quotient
  • Ability to work closely with stakeholders
  • Exposure to multiplicity of markets across Asia and EMEA
  • Influencing skills, interaction with regional functional/subject matter experts
  • Skills in designing a business compatible with Private bank product line
