Job Description:
  • The Regional Credit Initiation head will have the responsibility for
  • Provide Oversight to 16 markets across Asia covering Cards and Loans. Manage and deliver Budget of around 60MM and head count of 1700 FTE across the region
  • Driving operational efficiencies through automation, process transformation across cards and loans products in Asia
  • Drive remarkable customer experience by leading and partnering in various digital transformation initiatives
  • Monitor and ensure delivery of all Key performance metrics and key re risk indicators for credit initiation across markets
  • Additional responsibilities to manage BP&A function for regional credit operations ensuring delivery of financial plan ( around 200 MM expense and 5000 FTE) through driving various reengineering initiatives
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Define the strategic road map for each market . Work closely with country credit operation teams to drive potential opportunities for Straight through process
  • Deliver remarkable customer experience through enhancing digital platforms as well optimization of backend systems
  • Work closely with product and risk teams and provide insights for improving the volumes and quality of bookings across region.
  • Work closely with fraud operations teams to ensure implementation of effective & systemic controls to minimize application fraud
  • Ensure processes to minimize reworks and improve first touch resolution.
  • Work closely with Controls teams to drive implementation of systemic controls like Digital CAATs, KAAC
  • Responsible for regional CSC oversight. Conduct regular operating reviews and help leverage best practices across markets. Drive migration of additional activities to regional CSC
  • Work closely with global office on critical projects.
  • Support Regional Credit ops head in driving expense, FTE and reengineering saves plan, including timely identification of opportunities/ adverse trends and remedial actions.


  • 10-15 years' experience with at least 7 years' experience in consumer business
  • Strong business sense, with the ability to balance effectiveness and efficiency trade-off in an operations environment to support business growth and customer experience
  • Proven ability to leverage technology and automated solutions.
  • Adept at developing and maintaining productive cross-functional working relationships.
  • Sound appreciation of cultural challenges in working with a geographically diverse teams
  • Strong ability to comprehend financials and make analytical judgment based on numbers and data
