Functional Overview   
 

Talent Team (Asia ex-Japan) at Nomura is part of the Human Resources function. The Talent team is made up of 4 key streams: Core Curriculum Development Programs, Targeted Development Programs and Diversity & Inclusion.. As a team, we support our firm to attract, retain and develop talent, optimizing performance and enabling competitive and sustainable advantage for the firm.

This role will report to the AEJ Talent lead, supporting the planning and execution of a wide variety of regional development programs and diversity events for the firm, and also provide administrative support to the team to ensure all Talent offerings are executed smoothly and professionally.

 
Job description   
 

Major Responsibilities:
•Accurately update and maintain the AEJ training schedule across all relevant streams.
•Provide full training support on pre, on-the-ground and post session logistics for a variety of training programs delivered by the Talent team, including but not limited to, core curriculum trainings, diversity trainings, targeted development sessions
•Act as the main contact point and person in charge in the team managing the online Learning Management System, which supports the registration, recording & evaluation for all training offerings by the Talent Team
•Assisting the AEJ team with any MI reporting requests
•Support the collation of regular and adhoc Talent Team Communications, e.g. newsletters, direct mailing list, cross-divisional updates, etc.
•Administrative support for Talent Team as a whole, which includes reconciliation of program expenses, training schedule, data various reporting, etc.
•Working closely with Diversity & Inclusion Lead to execute firm-wide Diversity related campaigns and events

 
Key Experience & Skills   
 

Requirements:
•High level of accuracy and attention to detail in event management
•Effective data management and analytical skills
•Strong organizational, and communication skills in English
•Strong proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•Team player – focuses on the success of team; open communicator across virtualteams; actively creates and maintains relationships; excited by working regionally and globally
•Ability to work independently
•Strong interpersonal skills: able to work with external parties for program execution and with internal clients and businesses, including with more senior people
