Start your career with Bank of Singapore as a Finance Specialist in the Expense Management team ! !
The analyst will join the Expense Management pillar of Finance to drive cost management initiatives, leveraging on data driven analytics, to achieve cost efficiencies and optimal return on dollar spent. To facilitate resource allocation aligning to bank's strategic objectives. They will join a team of 8 in the Accounts Payable team, assisting in the Bank's vendor payments, reconciliation of Nostro/ Vostro accounts and other general accountin functions.
Main Duties
  • Processing of vendor invoices for payments
  • Fixed Assets register maintenance and reconciliation
  • Daily bank nostro reconciliations (system and manual)
  • Monthly internal accounts (IAO) substantiation/nostro ageing report
  • Quarterly/yearly group reporting (sustainability Reporting and Transactions with Director & Director related parties
  • Rep office Manila and DIFC funding
  • Intellimatch upgrading project UAT
  • Support Group Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation
  • Redesign workflows from Finance Expense Management
  • Build and support customized solutions using VBA in Microsoft Access and Excel
  • Support additional expense controls that are aligned with Expense Control Framework (ECF)
  • Ad-hoc Finance projects

  • Minimally 2 years' experience in banking preferred.
  • Prior of Fixed Assets maintenance preferred
  • Prior Accounts Payable/Nostro reconciliation experience preferred
  • Strong self-starter, pro-active and team player.
  • Good operational knowledge and skills in IT applications, e.g. Microsoft Excel and Access Powerpoint, PowerBI, Word
