A globally renowned, Singapore based infrastructure player, with expanding footprint of assets, is seeking to appoint a seasoned Finance professional to its already impressive team. To $170K base, blend of controllership and FP&A / FBP plus ongoing involvment in M&A and commercial due diligence.

Finance Manager, Associate Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will play a pivotal role in the management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team responsible for the financial reporting functions, ensuring timely production of statutory, budget, forecast and internal financial reports and overseeing cash management and taxation functions within the group.
  • You will participate in the investment management aspects of the business, including supporting due diligence, transaction structuring, tax advisory and structuring and supporting the execution of deals.
  • In addition, you will provide supervision and leadership to the country controllers in regions where the Company has investments, overseeing management reporting, statutory and regulatory reporting, financial budgeting and forecasting, corporate governance, internal controls and stakeholders and co-investors management.
  • You will also be required to represent the Company at the audit committees of the investee companies.

Key Requirements:

  • You should possess a good degree in Accountancy from a reputable university and qualification as a Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant. Higher tertiary education is an advantage.
  • You should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in a leadership role including regional controllership responsibilities and strategic financial management role with established international investment companies with presence in the emerging markets.
  • Strong cross-border commercial experience is required. To succeed in this role, you should have strong intellectual and analytical ability, solid finance forensic skills and understand business risks. You should be a self-starter, resourceful and have the executive presence to work with senior management teams, investors and stakeholders of the business and investee companies.
  • This role requires extensive traveling.
  • Prior experience of working with government linked organizations is a must
