FVP, Business Process Designer

About Role
The role has an overall responsibility for design / optimize end-to-end customer and staff processes across business, operations, technology to support the bank transformative journey.

This position is a function within Enterprise Architecture, Process, and UX

Job Objectives
The successful candidate is expected to:
  • Drive impact through business process design and/or optimization
  • Identify problem statements and structure requirements with end-to-end coverage to show impact to process and TOM
    • Across all segments - Personal, SME, Commercial / Corporate
    • Across all touchpoints: branch, app, web, RM…
    • Across context and mode of use
    • Banking and beyond banking initiatives
    • All customer segments and banking operational teams
  • Align stakeholder to optimize requirements to deliver KPI / SLA
  • Trace requirement through delivery

Key Responsibilities
  • Design the L1 / L2 process mapping artifacts through co-creation of business, end users, and technology
  • Support operationalization with impact assessments of operational teams
  • Structure and manage the overall traceability matrix: business case / KPI > Features > User flows > L2 Process designs > L3 / L4 Technical functions
  • Structure requirements (L2/L3) into releases, including process impact assessment after each release, to ensure requirements are ready for sprint planning
  • Standardize and modularize processes, while provide the framework that will trace through technical design and delivery:
    • Business requirements: KPIs, product features
    • User requirements: flow / scenarios
    • Screen visuals and screen flows
    • Technical objects / services / functions
  • Continuously refine Process Framework and evangelize its best practice governances:
    • Collaboration approaches: how to facilitate large workshops with a complex blend of Business (Segment, Products, Compliance…), Operation teams, and Technology (System Analysts, Delivery Leads… )
    • Regular reviews of process artefacts in governance forums
    • Establish a practical mix of Lean Six Sigma blended with relevant design thinking methodologies

Must have
  • Expert in Process Design / Re-engineering
  • BPML Proficient or other business process modeling language
  • Use of business process modeling tool
  • Banking knowledge
  • 6 - 10 years of experience in regional / international banks
  • Proficient in requirement management
  • Experience with core banking and digital platforms
  • Pragmatic use of design thinking methods to align and reach group consensus
  • Understand and integrate digital disruption and customer high expectation of experience of financial services
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills to C-level
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent
  • Managed and working in blended team with partners

Good to have
  • Experience in IT Strategy consulting
  • Certified with well-known process re-engineering program
