To support the business decisioning process by providing essential inputs in the following areas:
- Financial Stewardship - Performance Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting, etc
- Resource Planning
- Relationship Management
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving cost efficiency in a large support function within an international Bank, facing off the bank's COOs and other Senior Management in the Risk & Compliance organization. The role is primarily focused on financial planning, analysis and control for the Compliance organization as well as providing Financial Stewardship.
Key areas of responsibility:
Support in maintain resourcing models,
Working with the Business Finance team to manage annual budget and periodic forecast cycles,
Supporting the requirements of the monthly Cost Management Group,
Providing Compliance stakeholders with cost analysis and projections,
Supporting the Operational Excellence agenda, which is the latest initiative driven by Group Performance Analytics team,
Supporting in the functional efficiency agenda reporting requirements.
Financial Stewardship - Performance Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting, etc
Standardise the management reporting & KPIs to highlight key financial performance trends and variances,
Support Compliance stakeholders with finance related queries and processes; including but not limited to annual fixed asset verifications, balance sheet substantiation, cost centre ownership reviews.
Facilitate the data accuracy and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Business Function Structure reports.
This role is a highly matrixed one which requires enormous interactions and engagement within the Compliance and Finance functions.
This role will have a fair element of challenging and non-routine project related work including Business Efficiency Agenda, GBS leverage and other ad-hoc requests.
