Director FX Head Corporate Sales Sub Team
The FX team head is a strategic professional and leader within the corporate sales team in Markets.

  • Deliver the financial plan of the team
  • Work in close liaison with the Coverage banker team to deliver a coordinated business strategy across products, clients and delivery channels
  • Deliver best in class solutions to corporate clients across FX, Risk Management Solutions and originate multi asset opportunities
  • Achieve ambitious personal and team goals in both market and wallet share from the identified client franchise, originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
  • Take a lead role in fostering an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation
  • Strive to deliver efficient FX execution solutions to corporate clients
Compliance and Controls
  • Be responsible to lead the team with highest standards of ethics, controls and governance. The control framework includes the local regulatory regime, the Global FXLM code of conduct and all other guidelines issued at various times by the global office across products and asset classes
  • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
  • Be responsible to approve various regular reports that are a part of the control framework and ensure adequate checks and balances to supervise the conduct of the team in general in delivery of business
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
  • Develop or good understanding of how various product processors function so that operational risks are avoided and eliminated
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage senior level engagement with clients and internal stakeholder
  • Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas
  • Ensure that the team has adequate capacity and sufficient training to grow towards solutions mindset
  • Support, groom and challenge each team member while also leading by example
  • Promote career development and support team members to take learning opportunities

  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience. Established track record in leading a team will be preferred
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
