Digital Strategy Manager
Description
The Digital Strategy team in the secured lending business is tasked with the digitalisation of the Mortgage, Renovation and Car financing business. This includes developing the core loan origination systems to building customer self-serve journeys for loan applications and instant approval. The team is focused on developing ground up innovative solutions to transform the business and to provide digital solutions to support partnership collaboration to expand our ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • As the Agile product owner, to lead the development of the full end to end user requirements, prioritise them and work with IT, cross functional teams from Credit, Operations, Analytics, Marketing and Experience Design team to deliver seamless digital solution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the lending business to create and prioritise backlogs of stories and to define the minimum viable and marketable solution for launch.
  • Plan and drive project timelines to ensure that it hits the milestones and budgets. Lead the reporting and updates to Project Steering Committee.
  • Prepare/Review test scenarios and test cases and lead UAT activities to ensure that user requirements are met, and that the product roll out is completely tested and stable.
  • Support product heads and strategic partnership team in engaging industry partners to extend our digital solutions. Manage external partners in the technical collaboration, integration and roll out.
  • Own the digital platform and support technical issue resolution for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ideate and generate new digital solutions or repurpose up and coming technology solutions to serve our customers better and drive incremental revenue for the business.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate would have as strong background in areas of digital, design, technology, strategy, and experience in developing digital customer journey.
  • Possess university degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in banking / finance industry
  • Very strong people and project management skills. Professional certification is highly desirable. (Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner).
  • Able to front technical discussion with business analysts and solutioning team in finding the right technical solution for the business.
  • Candidate is a creative problem solver with an eye for simplifying complex problems into elegant experiences.
  • Experience in home loans or other lending products in a product role is desirable.
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and/or multiple projects.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyse and to leverage on data.
  • Experience in coding, programming and adobe analytics will be advantageous.
