Digital Specialist will work closely with the Head of Digital Trading to ensure delivery of innovative digital solutions for customers across multiple markets in the wealth and trading space.

This role will cover multiple asset classes and not limited to equities, fixed income, mutual funds etc... and the functionalities will cover the whole investment array from pre-trade to post-trade.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Act as market development specialist to enhance and develop an offering in the digital trading space both online and on mobile
* Assist in drafting client journeys, understand the client pain points and identify where Standard Chartered can and should add value to the end user while leveraging on the latest technology trends in the wealth space
* Support the Product Owner and be part of a multidisciplinary delivery squad
* Work closely with UX Design to gain an understanding of user personas and ensure alignment to target journeys defined for the bank
* Develop feature lists, user stories, and product roadmaps, collaborating with and coaching the Product Owner through the process
* Be a champion of the MVP concept, distilling the product down to what is desirable, viable and feasible
* Provide insights into product, technology and market trends based on competitor and emerging fintech analysis and help explore partnership opportunities if any
* Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing
* Develop materials and digital KPIs to measure and communicate progress to internal stakeholders
* Work with the digital wealth team to increase Standard Chartered share of wallet via delivery of innovative digital solutions that will help the bank retain its current user base and grow / acquire new clients locally and globally

Qualifications and Skills

* A bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (finance, computer science, electrical engineering)
* An MBA or other advanced degree (desirable, not essential)
* Mandarin is not required but desired
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Manager in Wealth, Retail Banking, or working with financial product in and adjacent industry with practical agile delivery experience
* Strong understanding of electronic trading platforms across multiple asset classes and associated customer journeys
* Strong understanding of financial markets concepts and interactions among different players
* Moderate to strong understanding of laws and regulations governing the trading space in Asia and the Middle East
* Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies, as well as emerging mixed reality and virtual assistant technologies
* A demonstrated and focused desire to build products and services that customers will love
* Proven working knowledge of agile development methodologies
* Experience launching multiple digital products especially trading platforms either in retail or institutional space
* An ability to think strategically and creatively
* Superior interpersonal/communication and stakeholder management skills
* The ability to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually-demanding and service-oriented environment
* The capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving

* A diligent attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations at the executive level
* Excellent leadership skills with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

* Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time.
