Products and services within the Consumer Banking Group include loans, credit cards, investment and unit trusts, insurance and priority banking.



Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue growth targets for all products and services such as investments, insurance and loans’ transactions etc. as stipulated in the yearly KPIs by successfully managing a sales team
  • Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of Wealth Planning Manager
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organisational sales goals and revenues.
  • Co-ordinate sales action plans for individual Wealth Planning Manager
  • Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Is accountable for customer service of WPM under his charge and at all times, deliver excellent customer service and be a positive role model for staff to follow
  • Ensure that every customer’s meeting is a distinctive experience, whether for transactions, financial planning or to seek solutions to various banking needs.
  • Strategies and organise community outreach activities both within and extending to workplace marketing to increase customer engagement and meet sales objectives
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives and programs to capture key demographics
  • Ensure compliance to external regulatory requirements and internal standards, procedures and processes
  • Develop and coach staff regularly to create a high performing sales and service team


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with minimum 3 years of proven track record in sales and sales management in the banking, insurance or financial services industry
  • Sound understanding of financial planning, Wealth Management products as well as banking operations
  • Good knowledge of current practice and compliance standards in the financial services industry
  • Good team building skills with a strong ability to influence
  • Relevant experience in handling customers
  • Relevant experience in training and development of sales staff
  • Knowledge of financial costing including P&L management
  • Knowledge of business marketing strategies and techniques
  • Preferably with CMFAS qualifications
