We are seeking a experienced Business continuity management candidate with strong experience working with the business and technical stakeholders. You will have portfolio coverage of 13 countries. My client is looking for candidates with prior experience of dealing with cyber security related disasters and have implemented a remediation solution to tackle the extreme situation. The ability to understand the severity and impact of a cybersecurity incident and how to communicate that to the business will be key to success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight, Implementation, Maintenance and Testing of solutions related to Extreme Cyber Security Disaster Scenario and Wide Area Disaster (WAD) Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Organize and provide governance for regional-wide Extreme Cyber Security Disaster project to include continuous improvement, maintenance and testing of the solutions.
  • Design and propose the Extreme Cyber Security Disaster and WAD-BCP framework with all key stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and propose scope with key stakeholders for endorsement by APAC Management.
  • Manage and work with key stakeholders to implement endorsed solutions for the IT Mitigation, IT Recovery and Business Continuity related to Extreme Cyber Security Disaster scenarios.
  • Coordinate with BCM to ensure the solutions implemented are aligned with business continuity objectives.
  • Collect, challenge and consolidate scorecards from various stakeholders to report progress of the various solutions implementation, maintenance and testing.
  • Provide assistance and support to various countries as appropriate in responding to Extreme Cyber Security Disaster situations.
  • Manage and work with key stakeholders to implement WAD -BCP for critical businesses;
  • Coordinate with BCM to ensure that the WAD-BCP are aligned with business continuity objectives and to integrate such dependencies into site level BCP;
  • Collect, challenge and consolidate scorecards from various stakeholders to report progress of the WADi-BCP implementation, maintenance and testing;

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of business continuity and information continuity concepts
  • Working experience in the financial services would be advantageous
  • Background in IT industry with knowledge on application development would be ideal
  • Prior experience in dealing with cyber security related incidents a big plus
  • Ability to mobilize and manage virtual team members
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Independent with critical thinking skills
