Responsible for responding to inquiries and complaints on more complex products/services and/or from premier customers. Duties may include: resolving complex inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers and upon escalation; processing complex transactions on-line; performing extensive research to resolve the complex customer problems; providing guidance and assistance to less experienced representatives either on the spot and/or via telephone; providing training on policies and procedures, new or enhanced services and/or procedural changes.

Responsible for responding to inquiries and complaints on more complex products/services and/or from premier customers. Duties may include: resolving complex inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers and upon escalation; processing complex transactions on-line; performing extensive research to resolve the complex customer problems; providing guidance and assistance to less experienced representatives either on the spot and/or via telephone; providing training on policies and procedures, new or enhanced services and/or procedural changes. May also cross-sell or refer products, review data and report trends to management, and project work,
 
1.Handling internal and external enquiries by fax/email/phone
2.Handling L/C and amendment advising, confirmation and related processing tasks including attending to customers and couriers over the counter
3.Provide proactive and professional responses/updates including emailing payment advices and courier number to customers
4.Search inbound swift for the receipt of L/Cs, amendments and advices
5.Research, investigate and trace for complex enquiries
6.Provide coverage for Logistics including tracing and follow-up actions – acceptance, payment and providing customers with status updates; perform appropriate update in the back office system of record
7.Discrepancy handling informing and explaining to customers; follow up for revised documents/disposal instructions
8.Any other tasks as assigned by the Manager
 

Requirement:

  • Polytechnic graduates preferred
  • 5+ years banking, customer service or trade experience preferred
  • Familiar with handling of export and import transactions; UCP, ISBP, ISP and other uniform rules
  • Team player; willingness to learn new skills and to assist colleagues when needed
  • Ability to provide fast, responsive and accurate service
  • Professional and courteous disposition preferred
