The main focus of the role is to support credit risk and Risk Management Committee (RMC) reporting needs covering current and potential credit exposures across various cuts of the trading and lending portfolios and Emerging Market country risk for Asia Credit Risk Management. These reports are used to help senior risk managers understand the key exposures and risk profile of the bank or to illustrate the credit exposures of the bank to senior management, the board, regulators, investors and internal partners.

The Credit Risk Reporting team in Singapore is principally involved in delivering strategic improvements to the current reporting capabilities and processes and responding to ad hoc queries.

Develop and perform exposure analysis and exposure challenge capabilities to support senior risk management partners in APAC.

An exciting and challenging VP position reporting to Head of Reporting and Analytics and forming part of the senior team supporting divisional risk reporting, analysis and analytics.

  • Support senior management understanding of divisional credit risk profile through identification, reporting and monitoring concentration risks and emerging portfolio risks.
  • Leading performance of appropriate deep-dive, stress and scenario analyses to support risk decision.
  • Drive standard methodology, standardization and control standard to meet BCBS 239 compliance.
  • You will be responsible for delivery to partners suite of credit risk reports including:
    • Management reporting
    • Regulatory reporting
    • Country risk reporting
    • Legal Entity risk reporting
    • Ad-hoc and Crisis management reporting
    • Risk Management Committee reporting
  • Partner management with internal clients within Chief Risk Office (CRO) across all corporate titles: handling relationships, prioritizing conflicting deliverables and handling expectations until delivery.
  • You will work with report preparation to continue improve process and products.
  • Forming effective partnerships with credit risk management, RFDAR production, front office, IT, controllers and operations to ensure successful execution of projects and adequate raising of data integrity issues.
  • Provide support to CRO change for regional project as it related to Credit risk reporting.
  • Participating in methodology reviews and implementation of any methodological changes.
Providing regulators with required ad hoc information or crafting processes for regular requests.

You Offer
  • You have completed Master's or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • You possess 5-10 years of experience in Credit, Market or operational risk management with familiarity in stress testing.
  • You should have the ability to communicate complicated business and technical ideas clearly and visually to senior management and other business partners.
  • You have experience in implementing change effectively and having demonstrated to operate successfully in different cultures.
  • You possess senior level experience in taking care of senior management business partners and in aligning topics across different regions, divisions and legal entities.
  • You should have experience with statistical tools and risk management tools.
  • You have proficient communication skills in English.
  • You have excellent PowerPoint presentation skills.
