My client, a leading international financial institution with offices in Singapore a looking to hire a Credit Risk specialist to assist with a number of key initiatives in adherence with IFRS9.

Main duties are producing reporting packs for internal reporting, providing insightful analysis to explain the key Expected Credit Loss movements (within IFRS9 regulatory requirements), support various adhoc requests to drive key business decisions, provide commentary for Group and Local external reporting in addition to acting as a subject matter expert in matters of ECL for internal stakeholders in the bank.

 

Candidate Responsibilities –

 

  • Produce reports and write commentary for external local and group reporting and to support queries in that process.
  • Partner with Group and Country Finance teams to support ECL reporting for financial planning, analysis and disclosure.
  • Ensure robustness and reliability of the estimates generated by the IFRS9 engines.
  • Support reconciliation activity of ECL numbers for internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Support the writing and socialization of all committee papers relating to ECL.

  • Production of Management Information for periodic and adhoc internal reporting.
  • Production of all committee and forum reporting material relating to ECL.
  • Produce documentations as and when required for regulatory submissions

 

Key Requirements  

  • Experience of working in a retail and / or wholesale banking risk reporting with understanding of retail and / or wholesale banking products
  • Good knowledge of credit risk management and risk models - PD, LGD, EAD and measures like RWA, Expected Loss, Charge Off etc.
  • Good understanding of banking regulations like Basel II, IFRS9, CRDIV etc.
  • Proficient in SAS, Excel, VBA, Macros etc.
  • Knowledge in Visualisation tools like SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau etc. will be advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work under stress in a timeline oriented environment
