Credit Portf Intmd Analyst
The candidate will be part of the Consumer Bank Unsecured Model Risk Management Team, working together with Credit Policy teams as well as interacting with key groups regionally and globally. The overall objective of this role is to manage credit and model risk of Citibank Singapore Ltd. (CSL) consumer portfolio, which specializes in providing Unsecured Lending products to its customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Appropriately assess model risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Participates and lead model development of new scorecards aligned with business needs across the credit cycle
  • Provide support and guidance for in-country business, cross-functional teams, and regional initiatives that drives overall business and portfolio growth through model risk management
  • Ensures model governance is compliant with local, regional and global policies driving alignment with various cross-functional teams as needed
  • Completes periodic model reviews (monthly, quarterly, annual), and engages with business stakeholders by providing recommendations on findings
  • Ensures systems are accurate, coordinates with tech teams to resolve issues, and recommend solutions fixes
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with 4-6 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in scoring models / risk segmentation / loss forecasting model management for consumer products
  • Has a strong analytical capability, with a demonstrated ability to develop MIS, track monthly/quarterly/annual reports within timelines provided, have worked with modelling teams to develop traditional logistic as well as machine learning models would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of consumer risk management concepts with experience in model risk management, unsecured products, portfolio management, and collections experience would be an advantage
  • Good leadership, and collaborative in working within a team as well as an individual contributor
  • Strong computer skills particularly in SAS programming (preferred) or any other relevant programming languages, Excel, PowerPoint , etc.
