We Offer

  • You are responsible to drive employee volunteering initiatives in Asia Pacific and promoting positive internal and external communication in the region.
  • Review, conduct due diligence, evaluate and process volunteer grant applications.
  • Develop and execute volunteering initiatives and ideas to drive more participation from employees through working with Division management and Country management.
  • Build internal communications related to the promotion of volunteering activities such as memoranda and posters.
  • Liaise directly with local charities and internal volunteering team leaders to coordinate volunteering events.
  • Deliver presentations as needed on APAC Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy.
  • You will support the regional charity committees and philanthropy contacts.
  • Review, conduct due diligence and evaluate philanthropy grants application and process grant commitments.
  • Monitor and evaluate philanthropy programs supported by Credit Suisse
  • Contribute to Global Corporate Citizenship communication initiatives as requested (website, newsletter, reports).
  • Ensure close collaboration with Global Initiatives, Regions, Foundations and Business Management to strengthen the global set-up and to demonstrate standard methodologies.
  • Actively contribute to key projects and initiatives such as the APAC Corporate Citizenship newsletter and APAC Charity Wall.
  • Organize Credit Suisse regional campaign on disaster relief responses including staff communication, relief responses, fundraising campaign, approval on matching grant and selecting the charity partner for reconstruction and recovery in the disaster areas.
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications Team to plan and execute Corporate Citizenship media pitch activities.
  • Develop a strong network within CSR sector and with relevant local authorities and represent Credit Suisse in relevant sector forums and events.

You Offer
  • You possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Social Science, Politics, Law, Economics, Public Policy.
  • You should have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You have well-developed or strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong leader and team-player - but also 'self-starter' able to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • You are persuasive and a self-confident presenter.
  • You have strong experience in program strategy and project management.
  • Your experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus.
  • You should be able to manage senior management with confidence.
  • You are very detail oriented in managing small and large scale events.
