This role as a member of Client Ops Team will assist in variety of operational activities such as fund administration, investor services, middle office support and production/delivery of client reports and regulatory reporting. This role will require strong collaboration with other operational function team based within APAC region and UK.

This role will be responsible for

  • Provide administration, oversight and support on our funds, including Fund accounting and Investor Services
  • Manage Middle office activities, including cash, position and overdraft reconciliation
  • Support the growth of new business opportunities, by representing Operations on client-lifecycle activities and distribution channels as broker on-boarding; market access opening etc. to ensure smooth completion within agreed timeframe.
  • Production and delivery of client reports and regulatory reporting, including data collation and reconciliation
  • Provide operational administrative support to the business in, for example, completing market/cash opening documents and LEI renewal
  • Monitor service levels delivered by service providers and ensure they are up to standard and meeting reporting requirements
  • Active participation and contribution in project and change/ improvement initiatives

Core Knowledge

  • Min 3 years relevant operations experience in fund management / fund administration / custodian / securities servicing preferred
  • Undergraduate Degree in a related area of study, such as Mathematics, Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong general Operations knowledge, including exposure to:
  • Back Office: Unit price calculation and validation, securities valuation; Distribution calculation/streaming for unitised products
  • Middle office: Trade Matching and Settlement; trade flows; facing off to fund managers/clients in navigating trade issues; understanding data/trade/positional reconciliations
  • Financial/tax Reporting for local products and year-end reporting experience
  • Funds and product knowledge – an awareness of the firms Investments product range, including strategy types, track records and investment process
  • Self-motivated and dynamic
  • Able to work under pressure and adapt to changes
  • Ability to work independently and with a fine eye for detail
  • Good working knowledge of Investment process
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal & communication skills, good attitude
