The Global Application Management was established in May 2014 to provide world class technology services including Production System support on a global basis to TD Securities.

Responsibilities

Support front office fixed Income applications – Calypso Derivatives, Cash and Valuation services
Handle BAU user queries, raised by traders, sales, operations, finance, CMRM, other technology teams
Handle end of day batches and take timely recovery action for failures
Identify opportunities to improve batch performances and drive efficiencies.

Requirements

Business

Knowledge of Fixed Income Bonds and Derivatives  (Rates and Credit)
Strong Knowledge of Calypso (Working experience in version 15 is nice to have but not mandatory)
Prior front office support experience
Knowledge of batch processes both design and build best practice.

Technical:

Sound knowledge of Calypso system architecture design and build. Fair understanding & experience in core Calypso internals.
Java, UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server, Autosys/JILs, Unix, Windows shell scripting
Strong understanding of ITIL Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
For recurring Incidents perform root cause analysis and perform the initial analysis to support effective Problem Management
For problems, ensure these are prioritised and represented in the Development team meetings and where possible ensure a resolution is implemented to the problem in a timely fashion
Ensure all changes to the Production Environment follow the TD Securities Change management process
