Position Overview

Overview:

As a Physical Threat Intelligence Specialist you will be instrumental protecting our staff, assets and clients through a breadth of focussed activities. You will be a subject matter expert in the Asia Pacific region using your skills to identify and prevent threats. The role holder will work in collaboration with cyber teams to co-ordinate strategy and operational response. In addition, the role holder will pro-actively seek information from sources that enables vital information sharing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyse and disseminate Threat Intelligence to stakeholders across the APAC region e.g. verbal briefings, presentations and written reports.
  • Monitor geo-political threats that could impact on business operations.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Cyber Operations to identify and develop joint approaches on operational items.
  • Produce accurate and timely intelligence assessments making inferences from a breadth of information sources.
  • Develop and maintain a network of relationships across a range of sectors in the interests of information sharing efforts.
  • Respond to and provide time critical intelligence to key stakeholders across the region e.g. crisis management situations.
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure continued development of functional strategy, priorities and information.
  • Clearly and succinctly communicate written and verbal analysis on cyber security aspects to stakeholders with a broad range of backgrounds and expertise, focusing on the significance of the analysis to the stakeholder.

Skills and qualifications:
  • Experience and knowledge of intelligence operations (corporate environment).
  • Experience in incident response e.g. crisis management.
  • Ability to work calm under pressure and maintain operation focus on key required outcomes.
  • Take responsibility for allocated activities and ensure delivery to strict deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in the APAC region and strong knowledge of the security landscape and possible threats.
  • Experience in cyber threats or a willingness to cross train on some aspects of cyber intelligence e.g. open source monitoring and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – good verbal and written demonstration of English. Additional languages from across would benefit this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.
  • Strong IT skills- MS Office.
  • Ability to travel (where required).

Qualifications:
  • A University degree in a related topic e.g. security, political science, cyber intelligence
  • A related security certification would be beneficial but is not essential e.g. Cyber Security related
