The CIB Treasury Services (TS) Asia Pacific team is looking for a MD/ED for our newly established eCommerce Solution Product Sales team. This person will take a lead role for APAC in designing and scaling up cross-product solutions to meet eCommerce clients' needs. eCommerce is one of the key drivers for TS growth in APAC. This person will be responsible for driving the execution of the TS APAC eCommerce growth strategy, working closely with JPMC Global eCommerce Business Transformation team, TS Sales and Product organizations. Specifically, he/she will work with Sales to identify priority eCommerce clients and industry segments, defining sales strategies, participating in proactive client engagement, collaborating with a wide array of internal stakeholders and functional partners, and developing solutions for strategic and complex deals. As such, the role involves working with Treasury Services Sales, Corporate Bankers, the Investment Bank and other Treasury services product teams to ensure the appropriate coordination and growth of the defined segments. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work with a dynamic, eCommerce-oriented product set and to own the growth of Corporate client segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategy for growing eCommerce business and designing solutions leveraging the power of the JPMC franchise (ranging from Global Payments, FX, merchant acquiring, commercial card, trade, to retail/digital payments businesses) across existing and potential clients for Corporate Banking
  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities in rapidly evolving eCommerce market, partnering closely with GCB and TS Product and Sales teams
  • Support TS sales and relationship managers with deep product expertise
  • Partner with TS sales & product management to create compelling segment specific value propositions for eCommerce solutioning and proposals that will also drive marketing efforts
  • Client engagement and presales activities - Coordinate with TS Sales, Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking Sales for proactive and aggressive client engagement; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations aligned with eCommerce growth strategy
  • Provide continuous feedback to Product teams of emerging trends in the market and client needs for product evolution
  • Coordinate and drive solutioning efforts for complex deals involving multiple products, regions or complexities associated to product delivery
  • Effectively represent product offering and value proposition in industry events and JP Morgan organized events such as Client advisory forums


Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of product sales or sales management experience; experience in covering eCommerce clients a plus
  • BA or BS from a top-tier program or equivalent graduate level education preferred
  • Deep knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, FX and Channels, merchant acquiring, and the evolving wholesale and retail eCommerce payments space
  • Strong product oriented sales experience and acumen. Excellent client facing skills for senior level interactions.
