Business Description:

The Global Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) business in JP Morgan is a fast moving growth business with annual revenue of over $2.5bn. CEM has a leading franchise in Asia, EMEA, US, and Latam, servicing a wide range of clients and offers a diverse variety of products within the fixed income and currencies asset classes.

Job functions/responsibilities:

The candidate will be part of the CEM Trading Business Management team based in Singapore supporting the Asia CEM business agenda.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Primary focus on supporting Asia Client Solutions Group, G10 FX Spot and eComm (FX and rates) and part of South Asia CEM flow, but there will be flexibility depending on the individual
  • Partner with the Business to drive the strategic initiatives and financial goals of CEM, including driving New Business Initiatives Approvals
  • Assist in business reviews, business performance and planning
  • Contribute to CEM F&BM key strategic projects
  • Partner with Business Control Officers to navigate governance framework and ensure a strong control environment
  • Day-to-day support of the Trading desk e.g. BAU requests/issues/queries from the desk and escalations from other functional groups
  • This is a senior role and responsibilities could include oversight of junior BM's in the location including FADP's


Essential skills/experience:

  • Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working independently in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Strong analytical, logical-thinking/judgment and problem-solving skills - able to develop, draw and succinctly present sound conclusions
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Comfort in interacting with and influencing across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized; capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing dynamically
  • Knowledge of CEM, fixed income and/or eComm business preferred
  • Background in Business Management or Project Management preferred
