We are looking for a Mandarin-speaking Associate level candidate to join the Futures and Options Electronic Trading team as a coverage person. The role will have a heavy focus on greater China clients. The candidate will be responsible for client relationship management including trade consultation, market education, product enhancement coordination and wallet penetration.
This will entail:
Client Engagement - Drive organic growth as well as origination focusing on locally based clients and those trading into local markets; this may include prospects located globally trading global Listed Derivatives markets. Understand client needs, conduct regular reviews, plan revenue/cost analysis and assist clients in communicating their product needs
Electronic Trading Client Coverage & Execution Consulting - Client Coverage role in best execution for Listed Derivatives markets including use of Algorithms, discuss market structure and mechanics of trading, manage market risk and contingency execution of client orders, and post-trade analytics.
Electronic Trading Product Management - Work with relevant IT and business teams to develop / innovate platform product to drive electronic trading business.
Regulatory and Audit - Understands firm's approach and policies for managing market risk and regulatory requirements. Interface with Audit and Compliance departments to ensure that Exchange and Regulator inquiries are addressed. Ensure that ECS F&O procedures and operations are compliant to internal and external rules and regulations. Your Background:

• Native level speaker of Mandarin - ability to communicate complex market and regulatory concepts verbally and in writing with high-profile clients in Mandarin and English
• Experience working in Financial Industry or role involving direct client sales and account management
• Demonstrates basic understanding of electronic trading, information flow, trading cycle
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients in a high-pressure environment
• Comfortable pitching to clients, demonstrate use of trading platforms and explain trading algorithms in both English and Mandarin
• Possess quantitative/analytic skills and understanding of markets/technology/engineering/computer science
• Currently holds or be willing to quickly obtain necessary licenses to perform regulated activities in Singapore
