PositionOverview:
The goal of Digital & Platform Servicesis to create a commercial platform that seamlessly delivers all of J.P.Morgan's capabilities to clients when and how they want them, aligning ourtechnology, data, digital solutions, and operational services to provide anunparalleled experience.

Digital Markets Sales is the team which ownsthe digital distribution & transformation agenda for the global salesorganization across asset classes. The focus is on delivery of technologysolutions to improve sales workflow efficiency and surface client and marketintelligence in order to drive revenue growth for the organization.

The Digital Markets Product Manager for FixedIncome Sales will partner with members of the Macro & Spread Sales businessin APAC to understand their end-to-end workflows, identify opportunities fordigitization, and define solutions which may span both technology deliveriesand process re-engineering. S/he will work closely with Engineering and UX todesign and plan the delivery and drive the solutions through the softwaredevelopment lifecycle (SDLC.)

The position requires significant in-personmeeting time with sales in a trading floor environment. The CIB sales user baseis roughly 250 staff in APAC, of which FI Sales comprises approximately 150+members.

Responsibilities:
  • Documentexisting workflows, analyze existing capabilities and identify priority gapsand opportunities.
  • Prioritizeneeds and investments based upon sales and relationship insight, competitivepositioning and industry research.
  • Driveforward product strategy; the candidate will need to articulate strategy intopresentations, and assist senior technology management in promoting theorganization's strategy with the sales business.
  • Executethe digital roadmap for FI Sales in APAC region. Partner with Sales staff andTechnology to prioritize deliverables.
  • Product-managetoolsets for FI Sales throughout SDLC; collect user requirements, work closelywith UX (user experience) on design, provide guidance to development team, anddrive user adoption.
  • Producerequirements documents that translate business requirements into functionalspecifications for technology teams.
  • Promotedigital/automated solutions with Sales business and drive measurable adoption.
  • Becomea liaison between the sales business and multiple technology teams responsiblefor delivery to Sales people.
  • Representtechnology in front of Sales staff; help Sales navigate through differenttechnology units as needed.
  • Representbusiness in front of technology teams; articulate business use cases on behalfof Sales staff, navigate through legal, compliance, data usage, businessmanagement as needed.
  • Collaborateacross the sales product management team to identify opportunities for sharedsolutions across asset classes.
  • Managethe priorities, deliverables, and Sales buy-in and adoption including leadingstakeholder management and communication efforts.
  • Becomethe in-person point of contact for Sales staff for line of business


Qualifications:

Candidates must have prior experience workingwith Sales & Trading organizations and developing technology solutions forthe front office. Experience in the financial markets, structuredproblem-solving abilities with a superior academic record is required. Thesuccessful candidate should also possess the following attributes:

  • Musthave an understanding of the concepts and industry direction forHF/Institutional sales.
  • Strongpresentation-building skills and ability to translate complex business problemsand solutions into easily consumable content.
  • Excellentquantitative and analytical problem solving skills - as well as written andverbal communication.
  • Strongwork ethic, self-starter who is creative with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Abilityto execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, whilemaintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriatejunctures.
  • Teamplayer comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, unstructuredenvironment.
  • Quicklearner with strong attention to detail.
  • Professionalmaturity, personal integrity, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Abilityto influence and drive delivery across virtual teams outside of the directreporting line.
  • Abilityto receive and act upon feedback.
  • Experienceworking on a trading floor and interacting with sales & trading is a must.
  • Experienceworking in the Macro / Spread markets is preferred.
  • High-levelof proficiency in MS-Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Mid-levelof proficiency in Data analysis products (Tableau, Palantir, Qlikview)
