Business Systems Analyst Specialist

Primary contact for co-ordination and communication of project-related items for Australasian clients requiring paid business support. This business support requires someone who is highly experienced in BASE Global software.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Involved in the planning of projects and outlining project procedures to clients.
  • Communicates planning and procedures and sets expectation of key stakeholders.
  • Makes documentation and knowledge resources available to stakeholders.
  • Monitors project progression for assigned clients ensuring tasks are on track and reports where they are not.
  • Responsible for the management, resolution and status of defects, queries and tasks, through planning, organising and control of day to day work assignments. This involves following FIS Australasia procedures using JIRA.
  • Ensures the outcome of the investigation and resolution is effectively communicated to both external and internal clients.
  • Provides testing support to client projects in multiple areas including mobile payments and commercial cards.
  • Manages problems or changes to planning, communicating updates as required.
  • Provides functional assistance to clients and internal parties, particularly in the area of mobile payments and commercial card, as well as other areas within BASE Global.
  • Provides regular updates to key stakeholders at FIS Australasia.
  • Assists with the co-ordination of implementation tasks and knowledge hand-over.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years of demonstrated business systems analysis experience with many projects as the business systems analysis lead on "very large" projects, i.e., projects with duration of more than 10,000 hours or spanning more than 6 months
  • Knowledge of FIS Australasia Global Release procedures, Change Control procedures and defect management procedures
  • Experience with Process Analysis, Current/Future State integration, Change Management & Installation, Requirements Gathering, Requirements Traceability, Test Case Scripting & Execution, User Acceptance Testing
  • Familiar with Payments/Settlement/Clearing, Transaction Banking, Electronic Payment Network (EPN)
