*Role:

  • Develop a pipeline for new business opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed monthly net sales targets
  • Sell products and services to new clients – deep understanding of clients’ business models and problems, and identifying the appropriate solutions
  • Manage the sales process from beginning to end – this includes securing introductions with decision makers, providing prospects with product demonstrations, detailed proposals and consultations
  • Face-face meetings at client sites, events and conferences within territory
  • Accurately report internal administration: CRM activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, monthly reports to management, renewal planning and proposal preparation

 

*Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of sales and / or account management experience : financial data vendor, financial services, alternative investments, business to business SaaS sales, solution selling)
  • Consultative sales (e.g. SPIN selling) and negotiation skills and experience in a B2B ecosystem
  • Proven track record in hitting sales and retention targets
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in written and verbal communications
  • Sales motivated, team-focused attitude, and willingness to collaborate with peers, product management, and internal key constituents at the firm
  • Working knowledge of the financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related field required
