Job Summary

Senior member of the team in Asia (lead coverage in SG) that manages all aspects of the relationship between Schroders and Private Banks & Global Financial Clients in Asia. Drive business growth, meet sales objectives and put forward Schroders as a preferred business partner. Critical that the successful candidate is capable of interacting with senior stakeholders within Schroders and with senior decision makers across the client base.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing
  • Play a key role in ensuring the team meets sales and revenue targets
  • Act as primary contact for Private Banks and Global Financial Clients
  • Understand client's decision-making processes and how to navigate with product gatekeepers

Product Analysis
  • Understand and keep up to date with Schroders' product range and market views
  • Keep abreast of industry/regulatory developments and competitors' products

Relationship Management
  • Capable of interacting with senior investors within Schroders and with senior decision makers within their allocated portfolio of clients
  • Identify ways to anticipate and better fulfil client requirements
  • Confident entrepreneurial style - ability to assess and prioritise business opportunities
  • Strong personal presence, excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Flexible and adaptable working style; persuasiveness and negotiation skills of particular importance.
  • As a senior member of the team play a key role in budgetary and business planning process

Experience & Skills
  • At least 10 years' relevant experience
  • Possess necessary regulatory licences
  • Keen interest in markets, proficient understanding of financial and economic concepts
  • Experience of guiding or coaching more junior members of staff
