The true match for this profile will be someone who has implemented Salesforce marketing cloud as business consultant and has hands on experience with platform. Individual will be required to work with salesforce services and internal ITO team to deliver business value. Individual should also have confidence and experience in working with senior and cross functional stakeholders in remote working setting. He/she should also have reasonable understanding of MarTech ecosystem so that we can make full use of SFMC in close integration with other MarTech tools

The Marketing automation consultant would be responsible for:

 

  • Responsible for business requirements, functional design, customer journeys design, configuration, testing, training and implementation of SFMC
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify use cases to be implemented using SFMC. Execute those use cases
  • Develop and execute conversion plan for marketing email and SMS communication from legacy system to SFMC
  • Responsible to guide and deliver integration of SFMC with other MarTech tools like Adobe and AppsFlyer
  • Set up campaign efficiency benchmarks, ensure right measurement and tracking is available for campaigns. Create and maintain metrics reports and dashboards on marketing activities to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI
  • Set up complex drip campaigns, automation rules, notifications and alerts
  • Work with SalesForce, Professional services consultant and cross functional teams in SC (such as Group Digital, Segments, Country Digital, Distribution, Group ITO) to design, implement SFMC
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all Salesforce SFMC initiatives. Lead workshops, gather requirements and design solutions
  • Manage the implementation and delivery of new initiatives. Hands-on configuration
  • Provide BAU administration and support to the user-base
  • Stay abreast of new Salesforce releases and functionality, making suggestions to improve existing processes and implement new solutions
  • Prepare BRD and User stories and get them signed-off with country stakeholders. Walkthrough of user stories with implementation teams and agree on implementation timelines.
  • Validate projects through success metrics, after deployment to ensure they meet all operational and business requirements and drive maintenance and problem resolution, as required
  • Act as a SME for SFMC attending project ceremonies and providing support where required to ITO teams and Business teams
  • Preparation of User acceptance testing packs and ensuring that the same are signed-off in time

 

He/she should have a deep understanding of:

  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Strong Experience in working with Scrum teams
  • Salesforce marketing Cloud
  • Hands on experience in building content email template in SFMC. Work on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Amp Script to update HTML based emails. Work on Journey Builder, Mobile studio, Ad studio and Email Studio
  • First rate communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of Confluence and JIRA to conduct above activities


Other skills required:

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree holder. Overall experience of 7-10 years with at-least 3-5 years of experience in core and relevant field
  • Experience in setting up SFMC is must
  • Prefer Salesforce certified consultant
  • Prior experience setting up SFMC for bank is preferred
  • Strong presentation and communication skills to deal with a broad set of stakeholders, ability to tell a story through data, identify opportunities and drive action plans
