Business Analyst - Digital Banking

As a Senior Functional Consultant for Digital Banking, you will be responsible for bridging the gap

between our legacy banking application and the new digital banking environment. You will

collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT developers,

designers, and other consultants, to analyse requirements, design functional solutions, and drive the

successful implementation of digital banking initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the digital transformation efforts by providing functional expertise and guidance in the

• development of the digital banking platform.
• Analyze business requirements, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for
• improvement and innovation within the digital banking space.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into
• functional specifications and user stories.
• Work closely with IT development teams to ensure alignment between business
• requirements and technical solutions, providing guidance throughout the development
• lifecycle.
• Design and document end-to-end business processes for digital banking products and
• services, considering scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement and propose appropriate solutions to
• enhance the user experience and operational efficiency.
• Provide subject matter expertise on digital banking trends, industry best practices, and
• emerging technologies.
• Participate in testing activities to validate the functionality and usability of the digital
• banking platform, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Collaborate with change management teams to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of
• the new digital banking platform.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and knowledge
• within the digital banking domain.

Requirements:

• Overall, 15 years’ experience in banking transformation programmes and proven experience

• (6+ years) in a similar role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of digital banking concepts, technologies, and trends.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and systems, particularly within retail or
• commercial banking.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into functional
• specifications.
• Solid experience in designing end-to-end business processes and workflows.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at
• all levels.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
