This position sits within the Global Corporate Banking Division. The Strategic Planning team partners with the Regional Head and different product offices to design and driver the wider Corporate and Investment Banking Strategy across Asia and Oceania. We are looking for a high performing Associate to join our team and work with senior management to drive the business growth across our front office organization.

Job responsibilities:

  • To support the implementation of a Group-Wide Management Information System that is responsible for Risk analytics;
  • Act as the lead business analyst for the Data Track, working closely with the subject matter experts for performance and risk to ensure that our data capabilities can be enhanced and transformed to support the complex requirements for performance and risk calculations.;
  • Work closely with the project manager, subject matter experts, stakeholders and users from various business groups to implement the requirements and resolve project issues in a timely manner;
  • Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to understand and prioritize strategic opportunities;
  • Developing high quality and user- friendly reports and dashboards via BI Platforms (eg Excel, Access, Qlikview etc) and drive automation;
  • Tracking, reporting and reviewing performance against KPIs;
  • Assist in management of information needed to monitor and provide insights to the business decision process for across Asia and Oceania;
  • Expected responsibilities are to liaise with colleagues throughout Asia & Oceania and gather, consolidate, analyse, create, check and present insights/reporting dashboards
  • Constant communication with leadership team in shaping our data strategy for years to come

Job requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience and Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Science or equivalent;
  • Banking or consultancy experience with extensive background in Data and reporting;
  • Experience with building and maintaining database for all financial and non- financial information for products and regions;
  • Experience with data management and reconciling data across several sources;
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities, especially complex, ambiguous problems requiring integrated application;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills (excellent Excel and Access skills, Qlikview and basic SQL is a plus) and knowledge of Salesforce
  • Ability to work under strict timelines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good communication skills and comfortable interacting with people at all levels
