Provision, implementation, test and turn up of customer IP services in cooperation with the customer and field services teams. This includes IPVPN, IPsec, BGP transit and MPLS VPNs on layer 2 and 3 on core equipment.
Technical validation of customer IP orders.
Technical point of contact for Service Delivery, Project Management and In-Country Field Engineering teams for issues related to IP service design, implementation, test and turn up.
Prompt identification of issues which may impact delivery timescales or quality.
Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation;
Pro-active escalation, follow-through and liaison with appropriate departments to resolve technical issues which may impact delivery timescales or quality.
Diploma in Information Technology / Network Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering from a recognized institution, or relevant experience.
Strong team player with drive to take on challenging roles.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and able to adapt to a dynamic environment
Preferably knowledge ofrouter configuration.
Certification in CCNA and/or CCNP/JNCIA is desirable as IP technologies are increasingly being deployed in mobile network.
