About the team
The Associate Consultant will provide professional services to FIS customers using one or more solutions of the Cross-Asset Trading & Risk solutions (CATR).
The Professional Services Asia team is responsible for the implementation, configuration and upgrade of software solutions for Treasury, Capital Markets, Asset Management and Risk Management customers within the Asia Pacific region.
What you will be doing:

  • Participates in the conduct of business requirement studies, particularly technical concepts
  • Participates in the configuration, customization and testing of CATR solutions, business and/or technical analysis of business requirements, solution workflows and functional processes
  • Creates technical specifications for customization or core software enhancements, technical process and/or product requirements definition, deployment documentation
  • May troubleshoot system database issues using SQL and other technologies
  • May perform programming tasks during system issue analysis, issue resolution and/or system customization and configuration
  • Provides consultation on client projects
  • Conducts unit and systems tests; supports System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and/or mock rehearsals activities of clients
  • Provides continual feedback to the project manager promptly highlighting any potential issues to allow a proactive solution to be offered
  • Creates project documentation and deliverables
  • May provide training on the functional and/or technical aspects of the CATR solution to clients as well as colleagues, as relevant to role
  • Assists with pre-sales activities, such as answering Requests for Proposal (RFP), providing solution concept descriptions and effort estimations
  • Builds and maintains good relationships with Clients. Business travel will be essential for this role, for up to 90% of working time.

  • Good knowledge into Operating System knowledge (Windows, Unix); Databases (SQL, Sybase)
