Functional Overview  

Develop and formulate growth plans of new businesses/markets for onshore and offshore Wealth Management Business and provide support for WMD Management regarding execution of the plans and making business decisions.

Job Description  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Generate detailed understanding of the wealth management industry and competitive landscape through researching and analysing industry trends and market changes
  • Conduct data analysis by researching markets to seek undeveloped areas of potential and translate data into meaningful recommendation
  • Identify new business opportunities with recommended strategies and implementation plans to materialize strategy
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, evaluate and develop partnership opportunities in support of the strategy including developing the business case
  • Work with WMD Management and provide support and insight for management over the organization and business execution
  • Work with Tokyo HQ for the group wide Wealth Management development

Key Experience & Skills  

 

Requirements:

 

  • Degree qualified, MBA (or equivalent) is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an analytical and/or strategic function, ideally within banking or other relevant financial services
  • Excellent business analysis experience in developing strategic analysis and recommendations
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) who is able to liaise with all levels, explain potentially complex ideas and present findings to senior management 
  • Proficient in English, Chinese and Japanese, Competent for liaising with stakeholders cross the region
  • Proven record for execution with measurable results and a focus in delivering impact
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, delivering to strict deadlines 
  • Strong analytical skills and able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time
  • Pro-active and independent; with good business acumen
