This position is responsible for developing and supporting our sales teams that are responsible for the sales and marketing of SGX products (Equities and Fixed Income, Derivatives and Market Data, Connectivity, and Index). The primary purpose of the role is to develop and implement sales performance tools and processes which aim to help the teams to achieve higher sales volume, profit and continuous growth. This position reports to Head, Business Management Team.

Role Objectives

  • Implement sales performance tools which aim to change behaviors and increase sales efficiencies
  • Set goals which drive performance to meet corporate objectives
  • Improve customer relationship management process
  • Provide the right infrastructure to operate and develop processes to support and improve the operation of Global Sales & Origination Unit

Key Deliverables

  1. Implementing and improving Sales Management tools and processes
  • Developing new methodologies and business analytic and performance tools to drive higher performance and operation efficiencies
  • Designing, coding, and creating the appropriate reporting from data warehouses to product business reporting to facilitate business decisions
  • Improving database design to increase capabilities to provide information and enhance operational characteristics. 
  • Defining and improving unit’s ability to measure and improve through the creation of new metrics and reporting. Work closely with Product Units, Marketing, and Finance functions to develop and align reporting and forecasts
  • Supporting and implement ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Other sales enhancement tools

 

  1. Assume role of Customer relationship management (‘CRM’) owner
  • Driving the adoption of CRM and making it an on-going sales culture
  • Ongoing support and maintenance of CRM

 

  1. Coordinate efficient management of both Singapore and International Sales Offices

 

  1. Ensure timely delivery of key reports to management and teams

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing reporting and analytics
  • Expert-level VBA and excel reporting skills.  Programming skills (experience with Python is a plus)
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Solution
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Self-motivated, with initiative
  • A good team player with proven ability to work with colleagues
  • Culturally sensitive and versatile with good cross cultural disposition
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with working with large amount of data
