You are responsible to initiate, plan and execute the business strategies to achieve the production and profit budgets for the agency and financial advisory channels. This includes working closely with distribution, customer value and product development and marketing stakeholders to bring relevant Accident and Health (A&H) products from conception to market.

The Job

  • Achieve the First Year and Renewal Budgets of TWNS and NBEV Budget for the Agency and Financial Advisory channels
  • Engage and develop effective working relationships with distribution partners at all levels to secure a positive distribution share of mind 
  • Sales and campaign management across all channels, agency, banca and digital
  • Leverage and deploy digital and social media tools to maximize sales productivity of our distribution partners
  • Identify market trends, gaps and opportunities for A&H sales and product marketing
  • Formulate product marketing, distribution strategies and action plans which deliver the budget
  • Active involvement:
  • Work with the marketing, product development and proposition teams to conceptualize the product and provide Market Validation (competitiveness and customer value)
  • Curate and deliver product propositions and sales pitches to the distribution network
  • Portfolio and channel performance monitoring and analysis
  • Work with the Marketing and Consumer Promotion teams to craft promotional materials and consumer promotion offerings
  • Work with distribution, customer value and technology partners to digitally enable (via use of online and social medial marketing and communication tools) our agency and financial advisory in goal-setting and sales performance management, to force multiply their capacity and reach to their customers and the marketplace and to spread A&H capability and expertise in A&H sales and product training
  • Liaise and work closely with back and middle office stakeholders to ensure excellence in service delivery
  • Lead or participate in projects assigned by the Head of Department
  • Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices

 

Our Requirements

  • Minimum Degree qualification from a recognized institution
  • At least 4 to 5 years’ experience in A&H (General or Life Insurance)
  • Working knowledge of business development with sales channels (Agency, Financial Advisory, brokers)
  • Working knowledge of using digital tools and social media to communicate and market products to consumers and distributor
  • Working knowledge in planning and executing a sales/ marketing campaign for sales channels and distribution management would be desirable
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good understanding on the A&H market in Singapore
  • High energy and a strong team player
  • Public speaking and presentation skills to large audiences
  • High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork
  • Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
