We are representing a well established Trading Company with global operations to find an Assistant Trader. This role will be based in their Singapore office.
Core functions for this role involves finding new business opportunities, forecasting purchase volumes in the designated area, liaising with suppliers and customers on a regular basis, working with the internal stakeholders such as the trade operations team, finance team and suppliers. He/ She will be coordinating with the other sales offices globally to fulfill the objectives of the company in relation to strategic decisions, profit maximization and market share in international trading.
Ideally, this person has at least 2-5 yrs of relevant working experience, excellent numerical & communication skills. She/He must have a good understanding of dry bulk shipping, ICC 500, Inco-terms. Strong knowledge of the Trading industry is essential.
