As part of the continued efforts to build the leading Asset Management Division in Asia Pacific, a regional structure with front to back alignment has been established to utilize and coordinate key resources and priorities
The Business Risks and Controls team acts to strengthen the control framework as well as to ensure compliance of all operational activities with the respective local regulations and regulators.
Maintain an effective control environment and execute and document operational and - where applicable - supervisory controls according to divisional standards; ensure accurate follow-ups to performed controls, where required
Ensure adherence to local and global standards related to the operations in Asset Management in particular:
  • Control management front to back: Control design, set up, ensure accurate documentation & execution of controls, trainings on controls
  • Incident management with various business partners
  • Supporting the roll out of controls framework and related processes
  • Translate requirements from regulations or policies into business related actions
  • Support during internal audits, audit read across, compliance reviews and the roll out mitigating actions

Work towards building the team in APAC with a global presence - this role is reporting to the VP, which reports locally to the COO as well as globally to the Business Risks and Controls function Headed in new York. This function has over 15 members.
