Asia Expense Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Projects & Digitization Lead - Vice President
Job Description:

The role is part of the Asia Regional FP&A team covering Expense Analytics, focusing on driving projects within O&T as well as region-wide expense that provide financial and strategic analyses and insights. The person will also play a central role in driving digitization efforts across the Asia Expense Analytics teams, working in partnership with multiple FP&A teams. The role reports directly to the Asia Operations & Technology FP&A Head and works closely with the Asia Regional Expense Analytics FP&A Head.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical insights through understanding of direct expenses and charge-outs, covering all Asia functions, businesses and geographies - developing action plans and business ideas where appropriate
  • Drive analysis and deep-dives to understand region/country expense drivers
  • Drive digitization effort for Asia Expense Teams to improve productivity and standardize reports and processes, including preparation of review decks for Regional and Global updates
  • Help drive strategic projects involving financial analyses, insights and strategic planning
  • Drive Finance Transformation across teams
  • Coordinate and partner with the FP&A Expense Leads to deliver on Asia Expense team projects and objectives, which include adhoc analysis during Plan/ Mid-Year Forecast
  • Lead coordination/preparation of materials for review of new investment proposals and investment transfers between Business and O&T, to ensure that expenditures are tracked and reported in line with budget
  • Drive CoB deliverables, working in close partnership with the Asia Finance Governance Lead, as the Lead Business Recovery Coordinator (BRC) for Regional Finance in partnership with Regional Finance staff, including call tree testing, volume testing etc.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Banking/Financial Services sectors
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Good understanding of the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and frameworks
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills to break down and resolve complex issues
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and communicate multi-faceted issues
  • Strong leadership, managerial and interpersonal integration skills across teams
  • Highly motivated, ability to work independently, strong performer with track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to build and nurture close relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts
