Analyst/ Senior Officer, Finance Executive, Corporate Real Estate Strategy and Administration (CRESA), Technology and Operations

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

1. Control & Overview

  • Planning and cost management support to CRESA operations & initiatives across the Globe.
  • Provide MIS support to generate key financial reports for Occupancy and Departmental cost and to enable management to provide strategic directions to DBS Bank with regards to management of its portfolio of properties.
  • Retrieve and manage large data volume from Hyperion system, and reconcile source data to various management reports.
  • Support Strategic Cost Management verification and submission.

2. BAU Financial Activities
  • Support monthly financial reporting by preparing and passing journals entries relating and managing day-to-day payables.
  • Worked with Group Finance and provide financial accounting support on Occupancy/Department costs in Singapore, Project tracking & Asset booking, Month-end journals preparation, Audit preparations, Balance sheet attestation, and Cost Savings submission.
  • Support in rent payments, inclusive of investigation of queries and follow through with resolutions.
  • Conducting investigation of queries and actively follow through in a professional and timely manner.
  • When required, assist on CRESA related audit substantiation and reviews

3. Process Improvement
  • Improve and explore various reporting tools to streamline multiple reports.
  • Continuously review and enhance tasks to improve efficiency


Requirements
  • A Degree holder with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in CRE or corporate real estate experience preferred
  • Proficient in Finance, Accounting and book-keeping knowledge
  • Possess strong analytical skills and demonstrates a keen eye for details
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders/partners
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Power point skills. especially Hyperion/Qlikview advantageous
