Analyst, Research & Insights

We are currently looking for an experienced analyst to join the Research & Client Insights team. You will be an integral part of the Research & Client Insights team which is a global function. The team runs global research programs covering the B2B and PvB client segments, providing strategic inputs to the business from both clients and staff.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Analyse client revenue and contact data to design representative survey samples for client survey launches
  • Lead interactions with in-country business coordinators to launch surveys in their markets, confirming client lists and questionnaires. Manage their day to day queries and ensure that client research studies progress as planned
  • Lead survey communications to clients, working to protect client personal data and manage invitations, reminders, response tracking, status reporting and sharing of feedback including red flag management
  • Liaise with professional market research agencies for survey setup, status monitoring and interim reporting
  • Monitor achievement of research goals by compiling stats and reports for business managers to ensure that surveys meet the response targets and demographics that we have set
  • Work closely with Research Managers throughout
  • Develop analysis models and communications materials to share research results with countries and with business heads
  • Translate survey results into insights to improve marketing and product strategies for CIB, TB, FM, CPB etc
  • Identify product and service opportunities, monitor and evaluate competition
  • Frequent engagement with business management across business network
  • Coordination of country briefings, making sure that the survey results are understood by in-country teams
  • Coordination of key central stakeholder briefings, to ensure that survey findings are known and understood by the relevant teams to drive action

Job Requirements

  • Educational to degree level in Statistics, or another numerate discipline
  • Strong knowledge of Statistical software packages such as SPSS or SAS or Q (preferred), MS Access, Excel (specifically building macros) & PowerPoint (critical requirement)
  • SAS Programming or any programming experience critical
  • Experience in Market Research agency will be a strong advantage (2-3 years as a minimum)
  • A natural team player, with a clear client orientation and a passion for service excellence
  • Adept at statistical analysis and modelling: ability to build hypotheses, synthesize information from different sources and extract key themes / messages from detailed data
  • Effective communication skills: ability to build clear communications that drive action
  • Self-starter, comfortable working independently. Must be detailed oriented with strong work ethics
