Account Executive (AE) - Insurance
Role: Account Executive (AE) - Insurance
Experience: 10+ years
Work location: Singapore

An Account Executive (AE) is a seasoned salesindividual with strong capability to open new accounts. The individual will beseen as a trusted advisor to customers in the insurance industry and be aninfluencer within Cognizant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute appropriate businessstrategies to achieve Insurance revenues in Singapore.
  • Lead business development activities andentrepreneurially pursues new account opportunities, using executive presenceand business acumen
  • Engage and manage client stakeholders atappropriate levels, including senior technology and business executives in thetarget clients
  • Negotiate commercial terms of engagementwhile maintaining deal profitability
  • Work with the delivery team and third-partyvendors to ensure that project risks are minimized and project goals are met
  • Focus on sale of outsourcing/managedservices and system integration services
  • Establishes executive presence in new logoaccounts that expands dialogues, contributes to transformative strategizing,and contributes to achieving status as a trusted advisor
  • Enhances relationship with product vendorswith joint go to market activities
Skills & Experience

  • More than 15 years of work experience in ITservice with focus on Insurance industry, working with large globalmultinational corporations
  • Strong knowledge in the Insurance industryincluding understanding of technology disruption trends
  • Proven track record in strategic selling
  • Experience in new account wins and alsoaccount management where you are able to sell through existing channels
  • Must have prior experience in large scaleproject implementations and/or large scale outsourcing engagements
  • Experience in managing large opportunities,working in an onsite / offshore model
  • Should be a self-starter and be ready tostart from the scratch and build accounts
  • Strong customer relationship skills atvarious levels, from line managers to C levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communicationskill. Ability to work with multi-cultural and geographically distributedteams. Should be a team player and able to lead different teams to a commongoal
  • Ability to influence decision making andwork across executive and operational levels on IT and business
