AVP / Senior Associate, Business Management Support Executive, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group

Responsibilities

  • To manage & coordinate projects for any new or business improvement initiatives (product, process or technology), including implementation of information technologies to deliver efficiencies to FATCA/CRS, KYC processes, trust administration and billing, MAS reporting.
  • To prepare business requirements for system enhancements and report automations to meet regulatory and management reporting requirements.
  • To understand the risk exposure of the Private Trust business with regards to investments. Gather and analyse account data for the review of investment performance of risky portfolios on a semi-annual and annual basis.
  • To prepare investment reviews for our trust portfolios and liaise with trust managers on appropriate escalation and remediation steps to mitigate such risks.
  • To coordinate regular investment committee meetings to discuss broad investment policies and guidelines as well as individual investment portfolios.
  • To track and follow up on appropriate remediation steps following committee meetings and discussions with trust managers.
  • To identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiencies, improve data integrity and reduce operational risk within the Private Trust team or across business units.
  • To support Private Trust business in regulatory compliance including annual reporting, registration with relevant tax authorities and other related monitoring
  • To prepare miscellaneous data reports for ad-hoc management reporting, document remediation, audit exercises, compliance reviews, etc.
  • To support the Business Management Support Manager and cover him/her duties in his/her absence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree, with at least 5 to 8 years in banking
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent data analysis skills with Excel proficiency including use of VBA, Pivot tables
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • Experience in portfolio performance and risk review is ideal
