AVP, Segment Manager - Family Segment
Develop and execute OCBC's customer value proposition for the family segment through the packaging of relevant products and services, with the objective of positioning OCBC as the preferred family bank.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Grow segment market share and profitability through valuable customer proposition and offers, with wealth as a core component
  • Develop strategic plans to drive acquisition and cross-sell of family segment's key products and propositions through marketing campaigns for OCBC Child Development Account (CDA), Children's Education etc.
  • Establish strategic partnerships to complement the OCBC Family Segment proposition
  • Drive deeper segment understanding of families through internal data analysis and external research
  • Manage key relationships with Ministry of Social & Family Services, partners and internal stakeholders to meet segment objectives and shared goals
  • Partner the Analytics and Research teams to garner insights that support segment strategy and propositions
  • Detailed and organised project management to ensure that all campaigns are timely and measurable
  • Detailed results tracking, analysis and reporting of segment efforts




  • Degree holder with minimum 8 years of relevant marketing experience with a strong command of the English language
  • A good understanding of customer segmentation particularly families, banking products and the financial services industry is preferred
  • Possesses strategic thinking and leadership capability as a manager
  • Proactive, resourceful, has a positive attitude with the ability to prioritize work and multi-task
  • Has the ability to communicate effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive initiatives that help meet KPIs
  • Possess the tenacity to develop win-win initiatives for own team, across segments, product managers and sales teams
  • Has an inquisitive mind with a keen interest in using data analytics to interpret findings and use as input to report and improve programme ROI
  • Is organised, pays attention to detail while keeping to the big picture and an overall team player
  • Enjoys challenges and has the ambition to develop to the next level
